Cascade Dance Theatre

POPPET | QUITE DISCONTINUOUS | COLLIDRON

Stylish, humorous, gorgeous – and hugely entertaining, that’s the appeal of Cascade Dance Theatre, making its first visit to Theatr Mwldan. Sit back and enjoy three very different, totally engaging dances selected by Artistic Director Phil Williams, including two world premieres, created by Welsh and international choreographers. This is a glorious and uplifting evening of dance performed by five scintillating, hand-picked dancers.

Poppet, Jem Treays. Four dancers and a puppet in a feel-good dance full of humour and charm but who is ultimately in control?

Quite Discontinuous, Jasper van Luijk. A sinuous, intricate male duet that grips us with its dark but life-affirming narrative

Collidron, Phil Williams. Five dancers create elegant, pure dance energy as they collide on the new marimba music of Harriet Riley.
