Jeanette Orrell: Drawings @ Oriel Mwldan
Jeannette’s work is a response to objects which have an everyday beauty and personal significance whilst also exploring the interwoven lives and intimate relationships between the artist, her grandmother and her daughters. Work can be triggered by memories/stories which chart the passing of time, moving through one stage of life to the next. The strength of the artist’s decision to focus on the domestic experience, whilst bringing up her two children, is explored through her creative practice.
