Creativity, arts and culture are in Cardigan's DNA. Mwldan is at its heart. A vibrant centre for the arts, and an independent, registered charity, we've been celebrating the local and the global since 1983. With a vibrant year-round programme of live performances and a diverse film programme across our three screens, we welcome over 250,000 people a year through our doors here in Cardigan, with many more experiencing our work through our touring productions and recorded releases worldwide.

Announcing Hannah Firth, Mwldan's new CEO and Creative Director

We're delighted to welcome Hannah Firth to Mwldan, and Aberteifi!

Hannah will take up her new post in November, succeeding Dilwyn Davies who stands down at the end of 2026 after a 33 year tenure. Read more here.

Other Voices Cardigan 2025 Nominated for 2 BAFTA Cymru Awards

On behalf of the producing partners South Wind Blows, Mwldan and Triongl, we are delighted to have received a BAFTA Cymru nomination for ‘Entertainment Programme’ for Other Voices: Cardigan 2025 with Huw Stephens. We also congratulate the brilliant Huw Stephens, who has long been the face of Other Voices Cardigan, for his nomination in the category of ‘Presenter’.

While Other Voices Cardigan takes a fallow year, the ABERTEIFI LIVE collective is taking over some of the town’s most beloved venues for an unforgettable autumn weekend of live music! We’ve just shared more artists on this year's line-up…

Our autumn season of live shows is just around the corner – we have live poetry from the 'Unofficial Poet Laureate of Twitter' Brian Bilston, quick-fire banter from comedian Rich Hall, breathtaking live music brought to us by Sinfonia Cymru and Black Rat will be entertaining us as always with their excellent live theatre show Pride and Prejud(ish).
