GARDENING ALMANAC GARDDIO: Bywyd gwyllt yn eich gardd | Wildlife in your garden

Gardening Almanac is a new series of talks, hosted by local smallholder Caz Wyatt. We will be inviting a range of speakers to come and share their knowledge and expertise in particular areas, be it growing your own food, cultivating magnificent blooms, nurturing the wildlife on your plot, and beyond.

Yusef Samari is a local ecologist and naturalist, with an interest in all things buzzing, creeping, flapping or growing. He works for West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre and also organises weekly nature walks around Cardigan area. He may occasionally be found prostrate in a car park examining a lichen...

Caz lives on a permaculturally designed, off grid smallholding in north Pembrokeshire working as a grower, forager, forest gardener, brewer and shepherdess among other things. She has subsisted from home-grown produce and land based livelihoods for the past decade. She shares her experience with others through teaching land based skills, working with community projects and providing design consultation.

There will be a chance to ask questions during the talk.
